Following a successful product introduction, in-depth practical training, and a hands-on demonstration of the new Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Tester, the entire team of EFL inspectors—joined by representatives from Austec Group—came together for a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
Austec Group recently conducted a successful product training and hands-on demonstration of the newly introduced Fluke 1664 FC Multifunction Tester, showcasing its advanced features and practical benefits to EFL officers. As the only tester equipped with the innovative “Insulation PreTest” function, the Fluke 1664 FC automatically halts insulation testing and issues a visual warning when it detects an appliance connected to the system under test—helping prevent potentially costly and damaging errors to peripheral equipment.
In addition to its safety-first design, the tester streamlines workflows with its Auto Test capability, performing up to seven installation tests in a single sequence. This not only ensures compliance with local installation standards but also minimizes manual connections, significantly reducing the risk of human error and cutting down overall test time.
Compared to the previously used Fluke 1663 model, the Fluke 1664 FC represents a substantial upgrade for EFL inspectors across Fiji, offering enhanced efficiency, improved safety protocols, and greater confidence in field operations. The training session provided participants with valuable hands-on experience, reinforcing Austec Group’s commitment to supporting EFL’s transition to smarter, more reliable testing solutions.
